Repeater console

Talk to a repeater, room server or sensor plugged into this computer by USB: check that a flash worked, look around, and read or change its settings. Prefer the upstream configuration page? config.meshcore.io does the same job and uses the same commands, so it should work with these builds too (it needs internet; this page does not).

1 · Connect

Not connected

Plug the board in by USB first, and close anything else using its serial port (including a flasher tab that is still open). This console is for repeaters, room servers and sensors. A companion radio speaks a different, binary protocol over USB: use the phone app for those.

2 · Did the flash work?

Asks the board a few questions and tells you what it finds.

4 · Settings

Fills the boxes below with what the board has now, so you can check them or change just one.

Fill in only what you want to change. Radio settings take effect after a reboot.

Use the radio settings your local network uses, and a transmit power that is legal where you are. The presets are MeshCore's own suggestions for each region (listed at api.meshcore.nz); your local network may use different values, so ask the people running it.
